Summer Madness Fever Kicks In

On Friday 30th June First Holywood will descend upon Glenarm Estate for Summer Madness - Ireland's largest Christian Festival. Around 20 of us will be making up the First Holywood group and we are ecstatic!

At Summer Madness we will be setting up camp until Tuesday 4th July. We'll be fending for ourselves when it comes to cooking, but we'll be joining with thousands of young people from all across Ireland. We'll be attending MainStage sessions to worship God and hear his Word; there are lots of seminars; UV parties; Cafes; Acoustic nights and so much more. Here's a quick glance at the mini-guide and a quick look at how one group got on at Madness last year - just to give you an idea of what we'll get up to...

Over the course of the festival we're going to run this blog with photos, videos, updates and prayer points. We would love it if you could join with us in prayer over our young people.

• For our group of young people - that God's spirit would move powerfully, that they would each take individual steps to move closer to God;

• For safety journeying to and from the festival;

• For safety at the festival;

• For logistics such as transport - for people to serve the young people by providing lifts to and from the festival;

• For session follow up by our leaders with our young people;

• For the speakers - Matt Chandler, Rachel Gardner, Simon Lennox, Craig Cooney, Stuart Bothwell;

• For the worship leaders.
